The Mind Behind Table Set

Table Set Founder Sophie Penichet doesn’t just understand hospitality — she’s lived it. With nearly two decades shaping service-driven brands, today Sophie uncovers tailored solutions across lifestyle, boutique, and hospitality-adjacent businesses.

Sophie’s foray into hospitality began back in college. She never expected her side hustle to be more than a job, but after testing the corporate waters as planned, it finally clicked: The 9-5 life just wasn’t a good match for her industrious drive.

Returning to the unpredictable buzz of hospitality, she worked her way up from the front office to sales, food & beverage, and pre-opening strategy. Bringing her expertise to both micro hotels and full-service properties, Sophie then spent a decade as General Manager and Head of Operations. Her success in these positions propelled her into a VP role, where she led operations and openings for a national portfolio of coffee shops.
